Apple Computer는 화요일, 클러스터링 기능을 요구하는 고객용으로 설계된 새로운 구성의 Xserve를 발표했다. Cluster Node Xserve는 2MB의 L3캐쉬를 갖춘 1.33 GHz의 PowerPC G4프로세서를 2개탑재해 256MB DDR333 SDRAM, 60GB ATA/133 ADM, Mac OS X Server(10 클라이언트), Gigabit Ethernet를 갖춘다. 일반적인 모델과는 달리 이 구성에는 비디오 카드와 확장용 하드 디스크

애플, X서브 레이드 출시 내년초로 연기
애플컴퓨터가 랙-마운티드(rack-mounted) 스토리지 제품 출시를 내년초로 연기하기로 했다. 21일(현지 시간) C넷에 따르면 애플은 당초 올 연말로 예정됐던 X서브 레이드(RAID) 출시 일정을 지키기 힘들 것이라고 발표했다. 애플 측은 "지난 7월 X서브 1U 랙 마운트 서버를 출시한 이래 고객들과 전문가들로부터 과분한 칭찬을 받아 왔다"면서
